A few weeks ago, I was browsing around Pinterest looking for doodles and stumbled upon some really nice ones by Margaret Bremner. (Margaret Bremner, coincidently is the name of my year 7 maths teacher – but that was in New Zealand not Saskatoon). Anyway, Margaret Bremner has a blog called the Enthusiastic Artist, and I had a quick squiz around her website and noticed that she was doing something called Zentangles.
A few click later and I had zoomed through Rick and Maria’s Zentangle site before heading off to my kindle and buying a fantastic book called One Zentangle a Day: A 6-Week Course in Creative Drawing for Relaxation, Inspiration, and Fun. And then I was off. This is my first Zentangle in my old trusty Moleskine notebook that is already half full of doodles that I’ve been doing over the past six years at least.
Tangle patterns: Starting top right corner and going to the centre anti-clockwise: Keeko, Flukes, Florz, Shattuck, -, Crescent Moon, Pokeleaf, Purk, Nipa, Holibaugh x 2, Tipple x2, Fungees.
