Found time to do a challenge this week which was nice. This week’s Diva Challenge is to do a duo tangle with Fengle and Quandry only. I have used one of these before but not the other. Can you tell which one I’ve never tried before? It’s pretty obvious in the first of these tiles. Oops. But carried on anyway because there is never a mistake with Zentangle.
In other news we are all on baby watch for my good friend over at Elmo. I’m sending her lots of labour vibes in the hope her baby arrives tomorrow which would be just the best present ever. 😉
And I’ve started working in my small Moleskine notebook and am really loving it. This is just a plain 9x14cm notebook and it’s working out just fine. Here are some completed works from this last fortnight.
As usual I was zooming around Pinterest when I came across a lovely tangle by 3CatNite posted from Flickr. I was immediately inspired to do this tangle. My other half thought it was a bit too sci-fi.
Tangle Patterns: Shattuck, Printemps and modified Tink.
This is my first go at a Diva Challenge, but I was too slow to realise that there was a deadline – so it won’t appear on the linkey thing this time.
This challenge was to use one of the tangles created by the Diva challengers – this time it was one created by LeeAnn. I used my Moleskine notebook and a 01 and 08 Micron to draw, followed by a 2b pencil to shade.
Tangle patterns: Girdy, Beelight (I think?), Scallops, Floatfest, Rouche, Weben, Tuxedo, Lantern, Footlites, Jalousie, Sand Swirls, Lotus, Inapod, Printemps, Tipple, and a string of what I refer to as a snakey thing which could be a variant of Marasu or Barberpole. Can anyone help me out?
